Yellowstone National Park, Day Three, Part 2
We returned to Lake Hotel about 4:00 pm to relax and unwind after a day of driving to and from Grand Teton National Park. The Lake Hotel, situated on the shore of Yellowstone Lake, is the oldest lodging in all of the national parks and the grandest lodge in Yellowstone. We had a sumptuous dinner at the hotel dining room and then relaxed for the remainder of the evening to prepare for our next morning’s drive to Cody, Wyoming, and then Gillette, Wyoming, playing cards and listening to a string quartet in the hotel lobby. We ventured to the lakeshore to view a full moon and its reflection on the lake.
