Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore

After the shipwreck museum, we headed over to the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, which hugs the shore of Lake Superior from Grand Marais to Munising.  Pictured Rocks offers towering multicolored sandstone cliffs, miles long sparkling beach strands, dashing waterfalls, a huge area of sand dunes, and inland lakes and streams.  It was a pleasure to visit and is a must-see for anyone traveling to the Upper Peninsula. We hiked to Sable Falls and the shore of Lake Superior.  We also visited Miners Castle which is shown below.
